Double World Champion Sebastian Vettel returns to Red Bull Racing Factory, UK

Sebastian Vettel visited the Red Bull Racing factory in Milton Keynes, UK today for the first time since securing his second Formula One World Championship in Japan on Sunday 9 October.

For the team, it was a chance for a double celebration. On Sunday 16 October, Red Bull Racing successfully defended its Constructors’ World title in Korea to take the coveted Championship for a second time. The team now heads to the final three races of the 2011 Formula One season as the 2011 Constructors’ World Champions and 2011 Drivers’ World Champions.

Arriving at the factory this morning, Sebastian took part in a Press Conference, along with Team Principal Christian Horner and Chief Technical officer Adrian Newey. Mark Webber was unable to attend due to a prior sponsor commitment in Sydney, Australia, but sent a message of congratulations.

Following the Press Conference, Sebastian attended a factory celebration for all the staff of Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology (525 people), along with Christian and Adrian. The event was hosted by former Red Bull Racing driver, David Coulthard. Sebastian greeted staff and enjoyed a moment to reflect on what he and the team have achieved. Congratulatory messages were played, including one from Formula One legend Murray Walker. Mark sent a message of congratulations to all staff from Australia; he will be back in the factory after the Indian Grand Prix.
