Both world Championships at stake in the Brazilian Grand Prix

Toro Rosso and Jaime Alguersuariface the last Grand Prix of the season with a clear goal: improving positions in the rankings of the Drivers' and Constructors' championships. In the first one, the Spaniard is just two points behind Kamui Kobayashi; in the constructors' one, just one point separates Toro Rosso from Sauber. Scoring, then, is more important than ever.
Jaime Alguersuari reaches 2011's grand finale with the purpose -almost an obligation– of scoring again. Toro Rosso will fightfor the seventh place in the Constructors' championship at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, a goal linked to significant financial rewards that can be directly connected to the progress of the 2012 car. A priori, the characteristics of the Brazilian layout suits better to the STR6 characteristics than the spectacular Yas Marina track, so the Spaniard has the right to face the challenge with cautious optimism.
In 2011's latter GP will also work thinking about 2012, at least as far as tires is concerned. Pirelli brings to Brazil two experimental hard compound that are being tested on Friday's free practice sessions -the first one alongside Jean-Eric Vergne, who will replace again Sébastien Buemi. The Italian tyre-maker reports that these compounds will be significantly softer than the ones used so far, which should benefit all cars. Starting from Saturday and Sunday, the teams will retake the known medium tyre (silver) and a new soft rubber (yellow), tested during the rookie week in Abu Dhabi.
The Brazilian Grand Prix starts on Friday with the free practices from 13.30 pm (CET). The qualifying and the race begin at 17.00 pm.

Los dos mundiales, en juego en el GP de Brasil

Jaime Alguersuari y Toro Rosso lucharán en Sao Paulo, sede del último Gran Premio de la temporada, por mejorar posiciones en las clasificaciones de los mundiales de pilotos y constructores. En el primero, el español está a tan sólo dos puntos de distancia del japonés Kamui Kobayashi; en el de marcas, tan sólo un punto separa a Toro Rosso de Sauber. Puntuar, pues, es más importante que nunca.
Llega el fin de fiesta de la temporada 2011, y lo hace para Jaime Alguersuari con el objetivo -casi la obligación- de puntuar. Toro Rosso se juega la séptima plaza en el mundial de constructores en el Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, una meta ligada a una importante retribución económica que puede ir directamente conectada con el progreso del monoplaza de 2012. A priori, las características del trazado brasileño favorecen más al STR6 que el tortuoso trazado de Abu Dhabi, con lo que el español tiene derecho a afrontar la prueba con prudente optimismo.
En este último GP también se trabajará en clave 2012, por lo menos en lo que a neumáticos se refiere. Pirelli desplazará a Brasil dos juegos experimentales de compuesto duro, que Jaime probará en las dos sesiones de libres del viernes - en la primera de ellas de nuevo junto a Jean-Eric Vergne, que volverá a sustituir a Sébastien Buemi. La firma italiana informa que estos compuestos serán notablemente más blandos que los utilizados hasta ahora, lo que debería beneficiar a todos los monoplazas. A partir del sábado y el domingo, los equipos retomarán el neumático medio conocido (color plata) y una nueva goma blanda (amarilla), ya probada durante la pasada semana en el rookie test de Abu Dhabi.
El GP de Brasil arrancará este viernes con la disputa de los ensayos libres desde las 13.30 horas. Los entrenamientos y la carrera darán comienzo a las 17 horas, hora española.
