Sebastian set a new record for the most number of poles in a season this afternoon in Brazil.

Our double world champion’s qualifying time of 1:11.918 was enough to give him his 15th pole of 2011, breaking Nigel Mansell’s record of 14, set in 1992.

It was also a good day’s work for Seb’s team-mate Mark, who secured P2 with a time of 1:12.099 to make it an all-Red Bull front row for Sunday’s race.

McLaren’s Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton share the second row, in P3 and P4 respectively, with Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Felipe Massa, Adrian Sutil, Bruno Senna and Michael Schumacher completing the top 10 grid positions.
