Jerez de la Frontera, 13 February 2011 - 16 lucky premium users had the possibility to participate in the Scuderia Ferrari Community event on the occasion of the tests held by the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro in Jerez. An invitation for eight Scuderia Ferrari Community members and their guests made these two days, together with the Team, possible. In the morning the guests met the staff at the entrance to the Circuito Permanente de Velocidad in the Andalusian city and got to know the legendary word of the Scuderia Ferrari.
Before the lunch break the guests watched the Fernando Alonso’s outings, while today was the Spaniard’s last day of testing with the F150th Italia in Jerez, before the Team leaves for Barcelona, for another intense pre-Championship test session. There were many other teams on the track here in Jerez today, stimulating the tests and delivering a visual comparison with the lap times for the numerous fans on the circuit’s grandstands.
The Community also met Sergio Bondi, Head of Logistics for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro during the tests, before they watched more of the cars in action on the track. The guests had lunch in the motorhome together with the Team and later on met Filippo Petrucci, the Scuderia Ferrari test engineer.
Here are some of the comments from our guests here in Jerez at the end of an exciting day:
JORGE: I was surprised by how close we got to the Team and the friendliness of the team members. But I was also impressed by the logistics and how many complex things are managed by the Team to get all the things from one place to another: everything was really interesting!
ELISEO: all the people we met were really open. We even ate with the Team and we followed the tests and the team members in their work from close up.
MARIO: this is a dream come true. I had no idea how a motorhome was made and the experience here with the Team was really impressive.
ALAIN: after so many years I’ve been waiting in from of the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro motorhome I was finally allowed to step inside! That was great! And it was extremely interesting to hear about how things are organised, things the fans usually can’t even imagine.
FRANCIS: it was really exciting to see how the Team’s marketing works and understand the different aspects of this Team’s image: from where they live to how the areas are furnished down to the smallest detail. Really fascinating. Another aspect I found really interesting was the fact that you get the feeling of being part of a big family. Everybody here in Spain, also the sponsors, are very close to the Team and you can even see this on the track.
CHRIS and CLAUDIA: we’re looking forward to tomorrow. We’re really excited to meet Felipe and Fernando!
RONALD: I’ve been dreaming about such a day for years, since I was a child.
ISMAEL: everything is so big here. Fernando and his Team are great.
DANI: a very well organised day. Everything is really unique. From the technical explanations by the engineers to get to know the people we usually only see on TV at the races.
Tomorrow the guests will be the main protagonists of an unforgettable day: the programme includes a visit at the box with Marc Gene and the meeting with Felipe and Fernando!
Diario dello Staff: Primo giorno con la squadra per i tifosi della community a Jerez

Jerez de la Frontera, 13 febbraio - Sono 16 i fortunatissimi utenti premium che hanno potuto partecipare all'evento della Scuderia Ferrari Community nell'ambito dei test della Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro a Jerez; Un invito per due persone per 8 iscritti alla Scuderia Ferrari Community ha reso possibile questa due-giorni vissuta tutta insieme alla squadra. Dalla mattina si sono incontrati con lo staff davanti all'entrata principale del Circuito Permanente de Velocidad della città andalusa e sono entrati rapidamente nel mondo del loro mito, la Scuderia Ferrari.
Durante la mattinata hanno potuto assistere alle varie uscite di Fernando Alonso, impegnato oggi con la F150th Italia nell'ultimo giorno di test a Jerez prima di prendere la via di Barcellona, per un'altra intensa sessione di prove pre-Campionato. Oltre alla Scuderia, tante erano le squadre impegnate, che hanno dato vita a un confronto "visivo" e di cronometro molto interessante per i numerosi tifosi che hanno affollavano le tribune del circuito.
Per la Community a metà mattina l'incontro con Sergio Bondi, responsabile della Logistica della Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro per i test; a seguire ancora tanti giri di pista delle vetture in azione, poi il pranzo in motorhome con la squadra e l'incontro con Filippo Petrucci, ingegnere della Scuderia Ferrari nei test.
Alcuni dei commenti dei tifosi sono significativi delle emozioni vissute nella giornata:
JORGE: mi ha colpito la vicinanza della squadra, il modo amichevole in cui ci hanno accolto. Anche il racconto della logistica e di quanta complessità viene gestita dalla squadra per trasferire tutti i mezzi e i materiali mi ha molto impressionato: veramente tutto molto interessante!
ELISEO: le persone che abbiamo incontrato sono state tutte molto disponibili, abbiamo persino mangiato insieme alla squadra, e abbiamo visto sia i test che le persone del team veramente da vicino.
MARIO: questo è un sogno diventato realtà; non avevo idea di come fosse fatto un motorhome e l'esperienza vissuta in mezzo alla squadra mi ha davvero colpito.
ALAIN: dopo tanti anni ad aspettare fuori dal motorhome della Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, finalmente sono riuscito ad entrare! Che emozione, e che bello soddisfare le proprie curiosità su temi che noi tifosi non immaginiamo come siano organizzati
FRANCIS: davvero molto emozionante capire come funziona il marketing della squadra, ed anche gli aspetti di immagine di questa squadra: dagli ambienti in cui vivono, da come viene arredato ogni spazio e curato nei minimo dettagli, molto affascinante! L' altro aspetto che mi ha colpito molto è il fatto che davvero sembra di trovarsi in una grande famiglia. Tutti qui in Spagna, anche gli sponsor, sono molto vicini e affezionati alla squadra, e si vede anche qui in pista.
CHRIS e CLAUDIA: aspetto tanto dalla giornata di domani, siamo molto ansiosi di conoscere Felipe e Fernando, che emozione!
RONALD: sogno da tanti anni di trascorrere una giornata così, da quando ero bambino.
ISMAEL: è tutto molto grande qui, è grande Fernando e la sua squadra.
DANI: giornata organizzata molto bene, e tutto veramente unico, dalle spiegazioni tecniche degli ingegneri alla conoscenza delle persone che normalmente vediamo solo in tv durante le gare.
Domani gli ospiti saranno protagonisti di una giornata davvero indimenticabile: in programma una visita al box con Marc Gene e l'incontro con Felipe e Fernando!
