Denmark had the largest increase of Nordic tourists to Thailand

Thailand continues to attract more Danish tourists. Among the Nordic countries, Denmark and Norway were sending more tourists to Thailand in 2010. Sweden and Finland declined in numbers.
According to www.tic.travel the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Suraphon Svetasreni , the Tourism Authority see a tendency that some choose to vacation closer to their home country.
"We are very pleased with the progress in Denmark and Norway. But Sweden and Finland are quality markets such as Thailand can not afford to lose. We will do everything what we can to get these lost customers back by telling them that Thailand is still good Value for Money, "said Suraphon Svetasreni to tic.travel.
