Koenigsegg presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 the super-beast: Koenigsegg Agera R, it produces 1115 horsepower and develops 1200 Nm.
As promised, the Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg presented at the Geneva Motor Show the new supercar Agera R. Koenigsegg Agera R crafted by the Swedes have a monocoque structure, and the total mass of the car reaches 1330 kgs.
This is remarkable since Agera R has under the hood a V8 bi-turbo 5.0-liter that produces 1115 horsepower and develops 1200 Nm when powered with E85 biofuel. When using a 95 octane fuel the engine power reduces to 940 hp and 1100 Nm. Eight-cylinder power is transmitted to wheels through a gearbox with double-clutch seven reports and weighing only 81 kgs. Koenigsegg Agera R has a maximum speed of 440 km/h, but the model will be limited to 375 km/h.
On the outside, the Koenigsegg Agera R has a set of VGR (Vortex Generating Rim) wheels with a role in maximizing the pressure on, and the Michelin tires have been specifically designed to support speeds up to 420 km/h. Inside the aluminum, carbon fiber and Alcantara blend harmoniously to create an exclusive atmosphere, and offers features hi-fi audio, navigation, connectivity Bluetooth and car telemetry information.
