Bugatti 16C Galibier will be unveiled in 2013, its production will begin as soon as the plant in Molsheim, France will be reequipped.
Bugatti has received a green light from the head of Volkswagen regarding the production of 16C Galibier that, hopefully, it will be launched in 2013. Bugatti 16C Galibier will have a 8.0-liter W16 engine that will deliver 800 horsepower and can run both on petrol and bio fuel.
Production will require facilities in Molsheim, France, to be refitted, and the Bugatti 16C Galibier price is about 1 million euros ($1.4 million). This decision of Volkswagen directors comes following pressure made by Wolfgang Duerheimer, the new CEO of Bugatti.
When it will be produced, Bugatti 16C Galibier will be the fastest four-door model in the world. A different element from the Bugatti Veyron will be the use of a light-speed automatic transmission and a torque converter in the detriment of DSG used in the current supercar.
