FDA – Difficult start for Stroll at Lonato
Maranello, 3 April – After a strong showing in yesterday’s qualifying, today, Lance Stroll, the Canadian Ferrari Driver Academy student, took part in two races in the opening round of the Italian CSAI Karting championship at the International Napoli circuit at Sarno. Running in the KF3 class, the Chiesa Corse team driver retired after an accident in the first leg and then finished down in twentieth in the second.
The result did not live up to expectations for the youngster, who will try to reverse his fortunes in the next round which takes place at the Jesolo circuit over the weekend of 8 May.

Maranello, 3 aprile – Dopo la positiva prestazione registrata ieri nelle qualifiche, Lance Stroll, il giovane talento canadese allievo della Ferrari Driver Academy, è stato oggi impegnato nei due turni di competizioni che hanno segnato l’apertura del Campionato Italiano CSAI Karting sul Circuito Internazionale Napoli di Sarno. Tra gli iscritti alla categoria KF3, il pilota schierato dal team Chiesa Corse è stato costretto al ritiro nella prima manche, dopo essere rimasto coinvolto in un incidente, ed ha chiuso solo ventesimo in Gara 2.
Bilancio al di sotto delle aspettative per il giovane pilota che proverà a riscattarsi nel prossimo appuntamento in programma sul circuito di Jesolo nel fine settimana dell’8 maggio.
