FDA - Stroll back on the podium

Maranello, 26 June – The international “La Conca” circuit at Muro Leccese in Italy, close to the beach and the cliffs at Otranto was the setting this weekend for the penultimate round of the karting WSK Euro Series in which Ferrari Driver Academy youngster Lance Stroll is taking part.

The youngest pupil in the academy, Stroll is continuing his driver training with the Chiesa Corse team and showed signs of significant progress, securing another good result in this karting event. He came home in a strong second place in the final leg of the KF3 category, behind Dennis Olsen of Energy Corse.

The next and decisive final round of the 2011 European karting series will take place from 28 to 31 July at Spain’s Zuera circuit in Saragozza.
