Vettel: on brink of back-to-back world titles

Sebastian Vettel says he is feeling no more pressure than usual ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend, a race that could see him wrap up the drivers' championship.

Vettel goes into the race with a 112-point advantage over Fernando Alonso and would win the title with a victory if the Spaniard fails to make it on to the podium.

But he said: "There is always pressure on me and the team but I don't feel any extra trying to win the title here or in any particular place.

"We just have to remind ourselves of the target coming into the season, which was not to win the title by Singapore, just to win the championship itself.

"That's why this race is just as important as all the others.

"I know a lot of people are talking about it (winning the title), but certain things have to happen.

"It reminds me a little of the situation we faced in Abu Dhabi last year where people came up to me every few minutes telling me of the 1,467 different scenarios.

"So that is not of importance or the objective this weekend. The target is simply to optimise our performance."
