LA Auto Show 2011 Live: Porsche Panamera GTS
Porsche revealed at the LA Auto Show 2011 a new version of the Panamera model, named Porsche Panamera GTS. The four-door coupe is offered with 430 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.
Porsche surprise for LA Auto Show 2011 is called Panamera GTS and is a new version of the four-door coupe. Porsche Panamera GTS comes to fill the gap between the two versions, Panamera S and Panamera Turbo, with an intermediate power.
The resources are squeezed out of the modified Panamera S engine, a 4.8-liter V8, normally aspirated, able to deliver 430 horsepower at 6,700 revolutions and a torque by 20 Nm higher, ie 520 Nm. The unit is assisted by a PDK automatic transmission, ready to channel everything the eight-cylinder engine provides to both axles through the all-wheel drive and Sport Chrono package, available as standard.

The recipe has impressive results: Porsche Panamera GTS accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 179 mph (288 km/h). Even so, Panamera GTS promises an enviable efficiency in segment: only 10.9 liters per 100 kilometers on average.
Under The bodywork of Porsche Panamera GTS lies the already famous Active Suspension Management (PASM), responsible for adjusting the riding characteristics and providing impeccable ride. The tires of 255/45 on front and 280/40 on rear installed on 19″ wheels definitely helps a lot. In order to master all the 430 HP, Porsche installed on the Panamera GTS the braking performance system from the superior version, Panamera Turbo.

At the aesthetic level, the new Porsche Panamera GTS adopts Red Carmine color and a number of specific air intakes. No shortage of LED front lights, positioned as on the Turbo version, and some number of black elements to provide contrast.
For interior Porsche designers have chosen five colors that can be applied on a classic leather or on Alcantara. The seats were embroidered with the GTS logo, also found on the dashboard instruments and the thresholds. Optional, the body color, Carmine Red, can be chosen for the interior.
