Abu Dhabi GP - Alonso on the podium in Abu Dhabi
Yas Marina, 13 November – Fernando Alonso did not have a trophy from this event prior to the weekend, but now he does, having finished second in the third Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the penultimate round of the Formula 1 World Championship, which took place tonight at the Yas Marina circuit. Victory went to Lewis Hamilton for McLaren, with his team-mate Jenson Button coming home third, behind Scuderia Ferrari’s Spanish driver. In the other 150º Italia, Felipe Massa was fifth. In two weeks time, the final round of this year’s season takes place at the Interlagos circuit, on the outskirts of Sao Paolo, Brazil on 27 November.

Abu Dhabi, 13 novembre – Mancava il trofeo di Abu Dhabi nella collezione di Fernando Alonso, secondo nella terza edizione del Gran Premio di Abu Dhabi, penultimo atto del Campionato del Mondo di Formula 1 appena concluso sull’avveniristico impianto di Yas Marina. A conquistare la vittoria è stata la McLaren di Lewis Hamilton, mentre in terza posizione, dietro alla 150° Italia del pilota spagnolo della Scuderia Ferrari, è giunta la McLaren di Jenson Button. Quinta l’altra Ferrari del compagno di squadra Felipe Massa.
Una settimana di pausa attende ora il Circus della Formula 1 prima del finale di stagione, in programma sul circuito Interlagos di San Paolo, in Brasile, nel fine settimana del 27 novembre.
