GP2 – Second row for Bianchi in the Ardennes
Spa-Francorchamps, 26 August – Jules Bianchi’s Spa weekend got off to a good start, as he tackles the eighth round of the GP2 series. The Frenchman was ninth fastest in his Lotus Art in this morning’s free practice session, before setting the fourth best time of 2.20.211 in qualifying. It means the Ferrari Driver Academy student will start the first race on the second row of the grid at the legendary track in the Ardennes, behind poleman Christian Vietoris (2.18.345,) at the wheel of the Racing Engineering car, Luca Filippi (2.19.779) in the Scuderia Coloni car and Charles Pic (2.20.056) driving for the Barwa Addax team. Racing gets underway on Saturday at 15.40.
