Sergio “Checo” Pérez abandoned the Belgian GP

Sergio Pérez, Sauber F1 Team driver, started the Belgian GP in the ninth position but unfortunately had to abandon the race in lap 29 due to problems with his car, some news have mentioned he had problems with the car’s suspension.

Checo had dedicated the race to the victims of Monterrey’s attack. About his retiring from the race he said, “It was a shame, we were doing an excellent job”.

Sebastian Vettel finished first place, Mark Webber second and Jenson Button of Mclarren Mercedes third.

Sergio had managed to pass to the third qualifying session and for the first time pass from the 10th position. He started the race from the fifth row next to Vitaly Petrov, tenth, with a time of 1:51.374.
